Michele Müller is the President, Founder and R&D Head of Microsphere, bringing an unparalleled knowledge in the field of Spray Drying and particle size engineering.

Currently he is managing Sferalp SA and he is co-founder of Industrie Biomediche Insubri SA.

Michele has 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical field and has held executive or management positions in companies including Cerbios, Sintetica and Micro-Macinazione SA.

Michael Grassberger joined Microsphere in 2015 as Business Development Manager and was appointed to the Board as Managing Director in 2018. He has over 15 years of experience in custom manufacturing in the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device and Cosmetic industry.

Before joining Microsphere, Michael held various senior management positions, as Chief Operations Officer and Sales Manager in companies including Madena AG and Micro-Macinazione SA.

Matteo Berlusconi joined Microsphere in 2022 as Site Head, bringing with him strong technical and managerial leadership gained in more than 25 years serving leading European API manufacturers and CDMOs, such as Gnosis, Dipharma, CHEMO, where he covered various senior managerial and executive roles as Plant Director, Corporate Engineering Director, Operation Manager.

• Executive MBA, University of Applied Sciences of Southern Switzerland

She is responsible for the Quality Unit comprising both Quality Assurance and Quality Control Departments and for the Release, as Qualified Person for Switzerland.

Previously, she worked as Quality Assurance Manager at Pro.Bio.Sint. S.p.A. and as Change Control Manager at IBSA Institute Biochimique SA Lugano.

He brings extensive experience and knowledge in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and chemical industries, having held strategic commercial roles at BI-QEM and Alchem Europe SA.

Andrea drives the identification of new business opportunities, helping the team to navigate global markets, supporting global expansion and anticipating emerging future trends.

Silvestro Lucariello has been serving as R&D Manager of Microsphere since December 2023.

He benefits the company with his technical know-how derived from his experience as Responsible of R&D Solid State Lab and APIs Physical properties, and as Technology Transfer Scientist in organizations such as Chemo - Industriale Chimica, Lonza SA and Teva API Italy.
